Features of PlanTRAK’s Environmental Management System
Easily organize, delegate, and monitor compliance tasks or requirements across your facilities with robust functionality and easy-to-use navigation. PlanTRAK offers all the features you want in an environmental compliance management system.
Management Plans
You’ll have a Management Plan for each facility you add to PlanTRAK, enabling you to regularly review and update your program. Management Plans function as compliance calendars that automatically generate Events (tasks) and send email reminders to your team.
Each Management Plan Item is made up of an area of compliance, activity name, description, assigned user, frequency, and due dates.
Event Generation
The Management Plan generates new Events and adds the Events to the Open Events Table. The program automatically sends email notifications to your team, keeping everyone informed of upcoming expectations and requirements.
Events can also be generated from checklist deficiencies, audit findings, and action plans, or you can create individual Events as needed. Each Event is detailed with a specific task and its corresponding due date to keep your team on track.
With color-coded Events and escalation features, you can prioritize tasks and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Email Notifications
Email notifications alert users of upcoming and overdue Events. Assigned users can view checklists and reference documents or close an Event directly from email notifications.
These notifications can also serve as escalation alerts, notifying managers and directors of Events that have not been completed on time. The timing and recipients of email notifications can be customized for each task.
Holding Table
The Holding Table is a review tool that can be enabled or disabled for each facility. Directors or authorized users can access it to review closed Events, along with any associated checklists, attachments, or comments, to confirm completion and accuracy. If any documentation is missing or the task was not completed correctly, the Event can be reopened with comments detailing the necessary actions for completion.
Custom Facility Hierarchy
Build a custom hierarchy within PlanTRAK to align with your organization’s structure and operational setup. Our report filters allow you to narrow down results by specific groupings for a branch, region, division, or facility.
Reports and Metrics
See exactly what compliance tasks your teams are — or aren’t completing — at your facilities. Track task status, monitor compliance performance, review Management Plans, and adjust as needed with a few clicks.
Our color report lets you monitor compliance task statuses across all your facilities with a color-coded overview of upcoming and overdue Events. The Facility Metrics Report summarizes Event completions by location, enabling you to assess compliance performance and identify facilities needing more attention or improvement. Use custom reports to find historical Events, attachments and related documentation.
Audit Tool
Our Audit Tool is designed to help you record findings and assign corrective actions resulting from audits or inspections. It ensures that each action is tracked from assignment to resolution, enhancing accountability and ensuring no corrective measure slips through the cracks.
Action Plan Tool
Manage projects with our Action Plan Tool. This functionality helps organize, assign and track a series of tasks related to a specific project or objective, ensuring your project stays on track and is a success.
Document Manager
Organize and centralize essential compliance documents with the Document Manager. This tool provides a way to upload and organize relevant permits, plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and forms, ensuring your team always has quick access to the information they need to complete their tasks.
Transfer Tool
Use the Transfer Tool to make adjustments for staff changes or turnover. This functionality simplifies reassigning tasks and notifications from one employee to another. With just a few clicks, you can quickly transfer responsibility, maintaining continuity and accountability in your operations.
